I met Ron Chadif in Februrary 2006 after he had insisted on meeting me,even though I said that I probably wasn't interested in joining Pelephone as I belong to Cellphone.
.I am a plumber and have my cellphone number on my magnets and adverts.
Anyway Ron met me in the middle of a job where I had a clients water turned off and went and gave over the opinion that I could try the pelephone and if it didn't work out then no big deal.
He also gave me a pelephone number similar to my cellphone number without mentioning that that would cost me 300 NIS.It was also clear to him that Ivrit is not my mother tongue.Anyway I signed the hebrew contract and he left
By the evening I decided that it wasn't going to be possible to only use the pelephone to ring out on and just take incoming calls on my cellphone,so I left the pelephones in a cupboard at home.
A while later I got a bill from pelephone plus my normal monthly bill from cellphone.
Ron had explained that pelephone would pay my cellphone bill without explaining that this would be the case if and only if I didn't use my cellphone to call out on at all.Which was obvious to him at the time that we met that that would not be viable.
I spoke to Ron and told him that I wanted to return the pelephones and he then told me for the first time that I would have to pay a 5000NIS fine in order to do so.
I am now in a situation where the pelephones (I got one also for my wife) sit in our cupboard and I pay pelephone about 115 NIS a month for nothing
From the moment I met Ron Chadif he took full advantage of my situation,totally misled me and even though I appreciate that he has to bring in clients to satisfy his boss,that should not extend to taken advantage of the public.
I turn to you in the hope that the situation can be rectified.
