EL AL AIRLINES
On Monday March 6 2006 I was scheduled to fly back from New York to Tel Aviv (flight 0014). On Thursday march 2, one week before my scheduled flight I was informed that my flight was cancelled due to mechanical difficulties (difficulties which will occur next week??). I might add that my wife was on a flight at the same time one week earlier which flew half empty (which is probably the reason that they cancelled my flight). El al cancelled my flight and I lost a days work in addition to appointments I had made for the day plus the ride I arranged to pick me up at the a/p.
Although I'm not very happy about inconvenience I understand that it does not pay to fly half empty planes. I also feel that El al should compensate me for my ticket. Incidentaly this is not the first time El al has cancelled my flight.
I am a frequent flyer #6754402 and wish to remain one
I am therefore requesting compensation in the form of a flight at a future date
