To whom it may concern,

Subject: car rental 28.9.05-03.10.05

On the 28.9.05 I rented a Hyundai Getz from your office in Ben Gurion airport.(number TLV 1024668)

The car I received was completely filthy: all the ashtrays were full of cigarettes and other garbage, the floor had old fruit and paper pieces on it and the ceiling was covered with smoke residue and burn stains. Additionally it stank from smoke, which for a non smoker is absolutely unbearable.

Due to the fact that I had to go directly to the wedding of my sister-in-law in Jerusalem and I was already running late I didn't have enough time to change the car. On the way I called your office asking them to prepare a new car for me in Jerusalem. The service was bad and unfriendly and after I was transferred several times and put on hold for 15 minutes they told me it was my problem not having changed the car on the spot and the only solution they gave me was going to Raanana the next day to get an exchange car.
So I spoke with your representative in Raanana to fix a time to come over and discovered that he wasn't planning to exchange the car but he would let it be cleaned in which time I would have to wait on the spot.
So I decided not to waist my time driving there and back again to have it cleaned and found somebody in Jerusalem to clean it for me, of course on my costs (even though the stink didn't fully disappear, which meant driving with a perfume bottle all the way).

From the several times having rented cars I never experienced such a bad service as received by your company. This is quite surprising considering the fact that Budget is a internationally well known company.

After I complained at your representative in Switzerland he suggested to send you a complaint-letter and to ask for a partial refund of the rental price.
